that you and your child will be part of the “family” of our Montessori class and
Sacred Heart School this year! Below are some important upcoming events.
Home
Visit (new students only)
We would like to
schedule a brief home visit to
introduce ourselves as your child’s teachers. The main purpose of the visit is
to let your child meet their teacher before school begins in the comfort of
their own home. We will have some questions to help us get to know your child
and family, and we can discuss any questions you have. Ms. Cheryl will call you
next week to find a time in the last two weeks of August that is convenient for
you.
Orientation
Orientation (mandatory for new students) takes place on Tuesday, August 29. Your child will become familiar with their classroom and learn some basic procedures. Orientation makes the first day of
school much easier for the children! Parents will learn important information
to help give your child a smooth transition into school and a successful year. Please call the office to let us know which session you and your child will attend (856-963-1341):
Tuesday, August 29
Morning
session: 8:30 - 9:30 am
or
Afternoon
session: 4:30 - 5:30 pm
Please be punctual – we have a lot to
share with you and your child!
Light refreshments will be provided.
Used uniforms for sale.
First
Day of School – Wednesday, Sept. 6!
We will give you
more information at orientation about what to expect for the first days of
school and tips to support your child’s transition.
